Nano Banana AI Image Generator: Nano Banana 2 and Pro

Nano Banana is Google's family of image generation and editing models built on Gemini. Nano Banana 2, which Google also calls Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, is the fast version: Google describes it as pro-level generation and editing at Flash speed, with close instruction following, legible text and consistent characters across a series. Nano Banana Pro, or Gemini 3 Pro Image, is built on Gemini 3 Pro for studio-level precision and control: text in many languages, control of camera angle, focus and colour, relighting, and blending many images into one.

Both run from the same editor on Zero Kit and accept reference images, so you can carry a character, a product or a style from one image to the next. They differ in price per image and output options, and the table below reads that from the live model list. Both are included in Plus and above.

Both versions are good at following a conversation. Upload a picture, ask for one change, then ask for the next, and the image keeps everything you did not mention. That makes the family a natural choice for a character that appears in many scenes, a product shown in several settings, or a room redesigned one step at a time.
